Terms of service
These terms cover your use of the Trustfac website, operated by Trustfac. Use of the platform itself is governed by the service agreement signed before an account goes live; the main points of that agreement are summarized below so there are no surprises.
The website
The interactive demos show how the platform works using a made-up example business. Names, orders, phone numbers and amounts in them are illustrations, not results from a real customer, and not a promise of any result for yours. Don't submit false information through the contact form, try to break or overload the site, or submit someone else's details without their permission.
The service agreement, in brief
- Who can sign. A registered US business, through an owner or officer with authority to bind it. The acceptable use policy says what the platform may be used for.
- Review first. Nothing goes live until the business, its owner, its website and what it sells have been reviewed. Approval can be declined, and an approved account can be paused if what it processes stops matching what was approved.
- What you pay. A monthly subscription, usage fees, and any setup or build work quoted in writing. Every line item is in the agreement before you sign. See pricing and the refund and cancellation policy.
- Payment processing. Card and bank payments are settled by the acquiring banks and processors we work with, under their rules and the card networks' rules. Funds, reserves and holds follow those rules, and the agreement says when each applies.
- Your data and your customers' data. You own your business data. We use it to provide the service, as the privacy policy describes, and we never sell it.
- Messaging. You are responsible for the consent of the people you message; we enforce opt-in, STOP, HELP and quiet hours on every program.
- Ending it. Either side can end the agreement with notice. Fees already incurred remain due, records are kept as the law requires, and your data can be exported before the account closes.
- Liability. The agreement limits our liability to the fees paid in the prior twelve months, excludes indirect losses, and is governed by the law stated in it.
No warranty on the site
The website is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate, but descriptions here are general and may change. The signed agreement controls over anything on this site.
