Application

Apply for a Trustfac account.

Three short steps, about five minutes. Nothing here commits you to anything: it asks us to look at the store and tell you what review needs. Business accounts only; approval is a review, not automatic.

What happens after you submit

1.Within one business day someone on the review team reads the store and replies by email with the documents review needs for your business. Most of the list is below, so you can gather it now.
2.Review usually takes two to five business days once we have the documents. If anything on the website or in the application needs to change first, we say so plainly rather than declining quietly.
3.You receive the service agreement with every fee written in. Nothing is signed until you have read it, and nothing processes until it is signed.
4.The account opens in test mode. Checkout, the card vault and payouts are set up on your domain, and live payments are switched on by our team once you have signed off.

What to have ready

Formation documents: Articles of organization or incorporation, and the EIN confirmation letter.
The owner: A government ID for the person who signs, and for anyone who owns 25% or more of the business.
Bank account: A voided check or a bank letter for an account in the business’s own name. Payouts go only there.
Processing history: The last three monthly statements from a current or previous processor, if the store has processed before. Not required for a new store.
The website: Live, or close to it, with prices, refund and shipping terms, contact details and a privacy policy. We read it as part of review.

Before you apply, it is worth reading the acceptable use policy and what review covers. An account processes only the sales of the business that signed for it.
